Think of all the possible problems related to acoustics that the selected place might encounter: The noise of people enjoying the attractions of the resort and the sound of the ocean at night: In a Holiday resort not only are people who want to enjoy the attractions of the place but people who want to relax and chill out from their routine but with the sound of screams, laughter and the conversations of people who are enjoying the resort may rest is not possible, because of this is that I propose that the buildings should be not aligned to the fun area of the resort, if it is possible, this area should be as away as possible from the apartments. I also recommend that the buildings should be not aligned with the sea so that the sound of waves does not enter so easily to the apartment at night time, when all the visitors of the holiday resort want to rest and recuperate them selves for another day of fun; but even if the buildings were aligned with the sea I would suggest to isolate the apartments from the sound of the sea by installing a sound-absorbing ceiling, in the hallways and common internal areas in the building of the resort to reduce the reverberation time I would make that the whole floor was covered with carpet and at the reception I would place some sound-scattering objects such as furniture, shelves etc. because in the reception is where people are more concentrated inside the building.
